World Down Syndrome Day, mismatch them and show it

Since 2012, March 21st has been World Down Syndrome Day, organized by Down Syndrome International . To raise awareness of the difference, this day is an opportunity to participate in the #LotsOfSocks challenge.

How to participate in the #LotsOfSocks challenge?

Donating isn't the only way to support this day. On March 21st, choose and wear original, eye-catching, and mismatched socks. Get your friends, classmates, and colleagues involved. And post your photos and videos at the office, on the street, or at school with the hashtag #LotsOfSocks and also #WDSD #Trisomy21 #InclusionMeans

Treat yourself and us!

We are renewing our partnership with Trisomie 21 France

To make our (modest) contribution to this day, like last year, we will make a donation to the Trisomie 21 France association of €1 per pair sold online or in our Lille store from March 3 to 24, 2024.

All pairs count, whether they're in a box or individually. For example, an ACDC box set counts as 3 pairs, which means a donation of €3.

This partnership doesn't end on March 21st. Throughout the year, you can donate the loyalty points you earn with each purchase to the association. The calculation is as follows: €1 for every 100 points donated. Send us an email at contact@lebarachaussettes.com to make your donation.

You can also directly donate the amount of your choice to the association.

Why March 21st and why socks?

Simply because people with Down syndrome have three chromosomes 21 instead of two, hence March 21. And chromosomes look like socks. QED
